Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to commit to weekly therapy for a year?
Great question! From my professional experience therapy is not something that can be rushed. Therapy is most effective when approached as a consistent, ongoing process. Lasting changes in your mental and emotional well-being often require a deeper commitment than occasional sessions. Here’s why:
Building a Strong Therapeutic Relationship:
Trust and rapport are essential in therapy. Regular sessions help you and your therapist build a strong, safe, and collaborative relationship, which is the foundation for effective work.Progress Happens Over Time:
Healing and personal growth are gradual processes. Weekly sessions provide the continuity needed to make steady progress and address challenges as they arise.Creating and Reinforcing Positive Change:
Developing healthier thought patterns, emotional responses, and coping skills takes practice and repetition. Consistent therapy helps reinforce these changes until they become more natural and sustainable.Addressing Complex Issues:
Some concerns, especially those involving trauma, deeply rooted patterns, or long-term mental health challenges, require time to explore, understand, and resolve effectively.Accountability and Motivation:
Knowing you have a regular space to discuss your progress helps keep you accountable to your goals and motivates you to continue working toward positive change.Managing Life Transitions:
Over the course of a year, life inevitably brings new challenges. Regular therapy provides ongoing support, guidance, and tools to navigate them effectively.Ensuring Lasting Change:
Once progress is made, consistent therapy helps solidify those gains and provides strategies for preventing setbacks into old patterns or symptoms.
I see other therapists don’t have this weekly requirement, why should I work with you?
Therapy should feel like a safe, welcoming space where all parts of you are seen and celebrated. That’s what I strive to create.
I specialize in helping individuals and their partners who are navigating anxiety, chronic pain or illness, communication struggles, self-advocacy, and sex. But beyond the labels and techniques, I’m someone who truly gets it.
As a neurodivergent, bisexual witch and relationship anarchist, I bring my authentic self to the therapy room. I love working with folks who, like me, don’t fit neatly into society’s boxes—whether you’re queer, neurodivergent, poly, kinky, chronically ill, witchy, or simply someone walking your own path.
Through Sex and Relationships Therapy, I offer guidance and support tailored to your experiences. Whether it’s deepening intimacy, finding your voice, managing pain, or building healthier communication, I’m here to help you uncover your own wisdom and strength.
This is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, no masking or censoring required. Ready to do this work, together? Book a FREE 20 minute consultation now!

What if I can’t afford weekly therapy?
I understand that committing to weekly therapy can feel like a significant financial commitment, and I truly want healing to be accessible for everyone. It’s okay to feel uncertain about whether therapy is financially feasible right now.
If cost is a barrier, I’m here to have that conversation with compassion and understanding. While I’m a private-pay provider, many clients are able to submit superbills to their insurance companies for potential reimbursement, depending on their coverage. I’m happy to support you in navigating that process if it’s an option you’d like to explore.
I’m also happy to provide referrals or suggest sliding-scale resources that may be a better fit. My priority is your well-being, and I want you to receive the support you deserve, even if that means finding the right resources together.
Your healing journey is valid and important, no matter how you access support. If you’re feeling drawn to this work, I’m here to have that conversation with you with compassion and understanding. 💗
